Progress and Finals week is fast approaching

Dear Readers,
Well, thank goodness it snowed again, harder than it did last weekend. :) I seem to have a one-track mind on this, don't I? oh well.

Now, for progress. My Plum Sweater is advancing fast. I think I just might have enough yarn for the sleeves, though I cannot be sure. I will have to work on it this coming week, it would be great if I could wear the sweater when coming home for spring break. We shall have to see.

Unfortunately, that was all the progress I got this week. Finals week is fast approaching, and I have been working and drinking coffee like it's going out of style. In any case, I finished at least one of my finals, and now must start the other, more difficult one. (sigh) a student's job is never done.

Oh, I have one more thing to mention: I have a new passion. Well, ok, it's always been my passion. Ever since I was a kid, I've loved Winnie the Pooh. Don't laugh! It's true! Disney has really taken the originals to a whole new level, which I rather enjoy. Each character has something to offer, and I found out that I love every one of them.
Pooh likes sweet stuff: so do I
Rabbit is a bit stressed and controlling: Lord knows I can be like that!
Piglet is shy and always a little timid: I am definitely that. have been since a kid. I wonder why I didn't identify with him before?
Tigger: everyone loves him. He's the funnest character. And of course everyone wants to be at least a little like him. I know I do!
Eeyore: seemingly depressive but always wise. And honestly, everyone else is so fast-paced, it's nice to have a character that is slow and dependable.
Owl is sort of a show off with knowledge: and I can be sometimes, too
Kanga and Roo: the classic mother/son duo.
Gopher: no one remembers him any more, but he was always funny to me. he brought a different angle on the whole work ethic that Rabbit tries to pull off.

Sorry I'm boring you with these characters, but I swear there is a reason for this. The video of the month for March is Winnie the Pooh related. Not only that, but I'm thinking of knittin myself all these characters. Beware, BEWARE!!!! (be a very wary bear).

Ciao for now,
Cimorine
Ps, sock Monkey was looking out at the snow and I just had to catch a pic!
