Stand-still, cease-fire, and stalemate . . . NOT!

Dear Readers,
I regret to inform you that I have done no knitting what so ever this week, due to studying for finals. . . . . Wait, never mind! I did do something this week!

I have always wanted to knit a rosary, and here I am, doing it! I figured out that all I need to do is knit an i-chord, and make reverse bobbles for the beads. See? The cross will go on the end, wehre that short little string is. Plus, this is a great use for that extra crazy yarn. If I still have some left, maybe I'll make another sock monkey. (shrug) I can't really see these colors on any other animal.

What do you think?

Anyway, soon I will be at home with my family. Next week's post will be from Home Sweet Home in Portland, and I'll likely be discussing what I shall be knitting for Spring term. Hopefully, I will finish the plum sweater and maybe even keep moving on the endless wredeghan. who knows?

Wish me luck on my finals!
Ciao for now,
Cimorine

Cimorine, what a great idea to put the sock monkey at the top of your blog! He looks as though he's sitting on a blanket of snow. By the way, speaking of snow,we're getting huge, fluffy flakes of it right now: up to six inches is predicted by morning! It's really beautiful, and I'm sure you'd love it, since you have an affinity for snow. :-)

The knitted rosary is a great idea--perfect for toddlers who might pull other kinds of rosaries apart! It would be a nice gift to put in an Easter basket.

I hope you have a wonderful time at home with your family, and I'll pray that you do well on your exams. May God bless you and your dear ones.

thanks! I really adore the new style of the blog! :) He's actually sitting on a rabbit pelt, but who cares, it's adorabe! :) so glad you got snow! we're just about done here in Eastern OR, except for the snow up in the mountains (which, may I say, is a vast improvement on the ugly brown grass that populates this area). I think I will give the rosary to one of my little cousins . . . the young ones that are babies. good for them to play with.

Thanks so much for your post! I enjoyed reading it, and it's wonderful to know that someone else adores the new top pic as much as I do! :)
