I have not gotten much done again this week, but that is partly because my cable is getting odd. I keep messing up the proportions, but I will get it right, never fear. In any case, the cable will be the edging for the entire sweater, from the bottom to the sleeves to the hood. I rather like how I've improvised it so far. I need to just keep working at it. I can almost see the cable gracing my wrist as I put my hands in my sleeves in typical monk/feudal era Japanese fashion. what a perfect tribute to Redwall! someday I'll have to knit myself a tapestry of at least Martin the Warrior. That would be cool to hang around my room!

me too! :D the red is amazing. would you believe that that cable is sort of improvised? I just need to look at the general pattern and do what I need to do! :D I like that better than constantly looking at a chart.
