I know, I'm going out of order, but I couldn't help myself! I want to save the Christmas knitting for last (especially since I haven't even started! BAD ME!). Besides, the Baptismal gown is almost urgent. with Christmas knitting, I can really just reduce it to my Godmother's socks and my Advent Angel. We are too poor to pay for everyone to give everyone else gifts, so we pick Advent Angels. It's a good plan, and I plan on doing it. . . as soon as I find out who mine is. :)
In any case, the Baptismal gown is going well. See? I've made it longer, and finally advanced onto the body! YAY!
The bad news is that I'm worried I won't be able to finish it before February. The worse news is that I wonder if my recipient, Keisha, an old friend from Grade school, will even remember that I need her address at some point to send it to her. I'll probably take care of that in Portland, which is ok. I just like to worry. I had a few stains from a few mishaps, but I got them out easily with some bleach (not too much, don't worry!) It's a good thing the gown is white!
I think it's coming along fine, and so is the re-writing of the pattern. I'm getting the hang of this (finally!) and soon I shall have both the re-written pattern and the gown done! YAY!
