Several projects in the works, sorry for the HUGE summer delay!

Dear Readers,
sorry for not blogging in. . . . months, but I really have been ultra busy with my job as a nanny, and besides, I haven't had much time for knitting either. So, to make up for it, there will be a few more posts today, all with slightly different topics. This one is the first, so it wil generally cover all the topics of later posts.

Topics of Later Posts:
  • Christmas knitting
  •  the Baptismal gown
  • the wedding Afghan
  • Birthday gifts and Sewing (and how it can be fun with a cute sewing machine)
  • toys to be made at a later date (including a platypus, several teddy bears, and a dragon.)
  • Notes on the new living space in La Grande (for College, YAY!)
You like?

Anyway, this summer has been super busy with nannying, and as I said before I haven't really had time to knit. But it's been good, and I'm glad that it's summer, though I am anxiously awaiting snow (as always) and I look forward to making more toys in the winter once Christmas is over

Possibly the biggest thing for me that happened this summer was the vacations and the outcoming of the newest Phineas and ferb movie (it's the second), "Phineas and Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension." If you have not seen this movie, WATCH IT. If you have never seen the show, GO SEE IT! (it's on watch instantly on Netflix, and every episode is up on Youtube.) Phineas and Ferb is an AMAZING show, and I enjoy it every time I see any of the episodes. I keep finding new things to laugh about, new things to go crazy fandom over, and new things to sigh and say, "oooooh Perry!" (If you have a love for Secret Agents, you'll know what I mean).

Vacations were great this year. I did Opus Dei Camp, and I'll be head counselor next year. (drat, I still need to work on that!) I always have a firm sense of satisfaction working the Camp. :D

We went to Lake Tahoe this year, and got to see my dad's side of the family. I got to swim, we all got to walk everywhere, and the family got to take a boisterous Photo of us in saloon-style getup in black and white (or should I say brown and white?)

There were always the occasional weeks inbetween with their drama, the latest being lice (don't ask, I'd rather not think about it). Now, on to knitting related things! :D
